Most hydraulic presses are only supplied with inline filters that are designed to protect the hydraulic components from large particles that may enter the hydraulic system through component failure or ingress from the environment, but unfortunately struggle to maintain levels of small wear particles, moisture or varnish. When these additional contaminants are left unfiltered they will cause additional wear, corrosion and in the case of varnish sticky valves and increased operating temperatures, the effects of this is that the efficiency of hydraulic system decreases and increased chance of component failure leading to potential decreases of production cycles per machine or complete shutdown. CJC® Oil Filtration treat all of these contaminants with highest levels of filtration efficiency and operate independently of the hydraulic system, meaning they do not have any adverse effect on the efficiency of the hydraulic system.
