HP 27/- are high-pressure Fine Filters for offline (with pump) or bypass (without pump) oil filtration.
The HP 27/- series is designed for use at higher operating pressures than the standard range and is approved for operational pressures of maximum 6 bars in marine applications and 8 bars in industrial applications.
The filter is a 3-micron absolute filter with a high dirt-holding capacity and a cellulose-based filter insert that removes particles, retains oil degradation products (oxidation resin/sludge, varnish), and absorbs dissolved/emulsified and free water from oil.
Special inserts, which do not absorb water, are available on request.
HP Filters are used in fluid systems without pressure-less reservoirs or return lines, e.g., industrial coolant compressors (lube oil) and low-pressure marine hydraulic systems.
HP 27/- filters are available in sizes 27/27, 27/54, 27/81 and 27/108, using from 1-4 CJC® Filter Inserts. Supplied in a range of design configurations including pre-heaters, drip pans, tanks and control boxes.
The HP 27/- series complies with Det Norske Veritas’s Rules for Classification of Ships and Mobile Offshore Units.
